Portland Bill B&W
Hi all

I managed to get a few days away last week and end up on the south coast. So i took a quick trip over to Portland Bill and took this shot down on the rocks.

I've added a very slight blue tone to the image, so please let me know if you think it works?

Phase P65+ on Phase 645 fitted with 28mm lens
ISO 100
F16
1/125Sec
Raw converted to B&W in Capture One 4 Pro, with tone added in PS

thanks

Kevin

Morning kevin  and yes it does work for me, the frozen wave crashing against the rocks lets you know this place is alive  i also like the position of the bolder in the background  nice photo, well done

Hi Kevin,

It's a lovely well composed shot, with bags of atmosphere. My intial thoughts were "Looks a bit blue" then I read you had added a blue cast, not sure this works for me personally, but a great scene.

Regards

Rob

Hi Kev,

Like the shot - think I'd have gone for a high contrast straight B&W myself as I'm just not sure about the blue tone.

Good to see you finding the time....

Mark
