Clearing Winter Storm
Well back to shooting after a little illness. :frown:
Did some shooting around moab last weekend and managed to start work on some of the images.
This is from the Sneffels range in SW Colorado

Glad you're feeling better. Being ill is no fun! That title automatically calls to mind the Ansel Adams classic of the same name from Yosemite. This image, while perhaps not in that league, is still very nice indeed. I guess I wish there was a little more separation between the snow-covered mountains and the white clouds - not that there's much to be done about that. I especially light the light striking the field in the mid-ground area. Nice work!

This has a very appealing glow to it. Very nice.

I agree with Erik, and Todd.

This does have a nice luminance about it, and works very well in B&W.

This is really nice. I too really like the soft luminous glow on the field. I wouldn't mind seeing just a bit more separation between mountains and sky, but that's not a big deal. I think a small crop from the top would help tighten this up a bit.

The BW really works on this image. Like the wide angle and the detail in the image.

BW works great here and the image has an appealing flow to it.

I'm really loving all of the latest B&W images posted on this forum. And this one fits in with some of the best, great work!
