Red Pine Bark
Spent a little time walking tonight before the next storm hits (tomorrow night). Took several photos of common stuff, but that might look a bit more stellar with a different viewpoint.

You may critique if you'd like. Taken with a Canon 50D, 100-400mm, ISO 200, f/7.1 @ 1/250th

Nicely seen. I like the patterns and colors. It almost looks like one of Christopher's shale shots.

I agree with that bit about the sharpness. Other than that, I love the different layers of bark and their corresponding colors. You also arranged the different elements nicely. Very cool shot.

Neat abstract. I like the shapes, textures and sharp contrast of colors. Again, it looks like there are a lot of interesting shots within this frame.

Nice find, Ken. I like the composition but the deep shadows on the right and left are a bit distracting. The same comp in not as harsh light would work even better. I love the rustic, warm colors and patterns.

Beautiful patterns and colors, Ken. The details in the layers are really nice. Good eye.
