Nice work Jeroen, beautiful close-up, however for me the eye doesn't quite look right. This guy is obviously pre-slough and although there are 'catchlights' on the scales there is no reflection in the eye which is quite odd. I would've thought that with a flash you would see some reflection..? Any ideas..?

Lovely close up, with beautiful complimentary background. My small nit would be the white reflection? patch under his head, which is a little distracting. I also agree about the eye, it looks kind of misty, which is I guess to do with being 'pre-slough' as Brett says...
Still a great shot with lovely details.

Hi Guys,
I cloned out the reflection in it's eye as it was kind of harsh but i guess you are right i should have left it there.

Very nice Jeroen, the catchlight improves the image a lot.
