I was going to post another adder, but Brett has beaten me to it, so here is a grass snake from this morning. We found this individual under a cover object in not very warm weather conditions. He kept on playing dead, then giving it away by flicking his tongue out. This shot was taken in one of his stiller moments.

Nice image David, seems a little hot in places, but I would imagine rather difficult to expose in what perhaps seems to have been harsh light?

You are right, Drew. I always find that yellow collar very hard to expose for, and have actually toned it down quite a lot. I thought I might get away with it, but no chance on this forum!

Lovely image David! You did well toning the hotspots down, not an easy task.

I've decided, I hate you and Brett. Irrespective of the technical nits that may or may not be noticable (I didn't notice) I love the recent shots. I can't imagine geting shots like them.
Well done both of you.

Nice work David, could have given him a bath first though, seems like he emptied his bowels all over the place..!
LOL! I was at Tony's last night.. I agree with what Phil says about POV but I said that in your last image and couldn't think of another joke to put with it so keep up with the sanatogen, I'm sure it willl work eventually.. LOL!

Thanks for all those comments folks. One point of error for Tony (or was it Brett?), it didn't empty its bowels all over the place. As is my usual lot with this species, it emptied them all over me, and some probably got transferred back in handling. C'est la vie.
