Spent a few days in Central Texas chasing something to shoot. There were quite a few patches of Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrushes. Most were on the road right of ways although many pastures had nice areas. They all looked "seeded" and this is a pretty heavily populated area, so not too many vistas. I really wanted to go to the Hill Country but read many reports of "no wildflowers". Maybe another time.

This is some nice color Mike, glad you were able to find something to put in front of the lens. It sounds like our decision to skip the TX wildflower extravaganza this year was a good one. Thanks for sharing.

Great color. Love those Bluebonnets. . . also the Blue Bell they make in nearby Brenham!

Nice color Mike. I love the contrast of the blues and reds.

Thanks. It sure wasn't Colorado, but it was pretty nice.
