I'm trying to get in touch with a guy who, way back in 2001 wrote an article on frogs and how they evacuate the contents of their bladders before they jump ... for weight purposes. He was a member here back then, and I have (unfortunately) only read this forum sporadically.

That is the reason that I gave up jumping in competition. It was too embarassing!

It's not exactly on point, but this does involve voided bladders, jumping frogs, chihuahuas and predatory amphibians. As an apology for not taking Gloria's inquiry seriously, I will continue to search for the article she describes. At least until Jim Erhardt closes down this thread. :wink:
