Very nice photo Alan! The out of focus stone/concrete on the right detracts a bit, but its still a great shot. :toast:

Now I was expecting voles when I opened this .. ! Really different and great contact between the adult and chick too. Blacks look spot on as well :toast:

Great shot Alan.
I wouldn't expect something like this in a drainpipe.
Nature surprise us everytime again.

A great parental moment Alan. The splash of colour amongst the lesser tones setting the scene. :toast:

The concrete on the right is a bit awkward Alan but it's a cracking shot nonetheless :wavey:

If you'd been a foot or so further left perhaps the concrete might not be quite so awkward - I'd definitely go back for another go at it before little'un grows

Lovely moment well caught :wavey:

Well as much as I agree about the concrete on the right, I have a feeling that it may have given some camouflage from the subjects? In a way for me it gives a bit of a voyeuristic feel and an insight into the lives of the moorhen only this time in a drain !

Nicely done
