I am 60 years old and recently retired. My wife has no interest in photography. It would be great to find a buddy to go on photo shoots with. Hello Tony. Nice to hear another person has made it to the other side, that being retirement. I've been out over two years already and it goes by all too fast for me to keep up.

I personally do not make it to the west side of the sierras near as much as I would like, so, I suggest keeping an eye on the boards here as many others go to the valley area year around. I typically stick to the east side and usually try to make it there 2 or 3 times a year, depending upon the price of gas of course.

Keep checking in here or go to meetup.com, punch in your zip code and interest (ie: photography) and you will find a lot of groups in your area who meet to either discuss and share images or go on outings.
