Leaf b&w
Another one of these images that when taken late last fall I almost deleted immediately upon viewing. But it seem technically good so like many that way I hung on to it. Worked it up recently and I have started to look at some of these with a b&w adj. layer applied. This one took on a different look to me when that was done. Slight adjustments were made to the blue and yellow channels to get this. I thought it had an almost metallic look.
Anyway thought it was kinda different so I wanted to share it.

Brad

I have spent some time looking and returning to this shot. Just a personal thing it lacks something but I don't know what it is that's missing. That's for me anyway there again I'm not sure what I'm expecting. Confused.

Taken as a whole the shot doesn't move me too much Brad. But there is one area of the image that I really find intriguing and which I could explore it in more detail and that is the "liquid" part of the oak leaf at LR.

It seems to be reflecting the sky and possibly other details like trees or weeds. This might have made a really good abstract if attention had been focused there.

Qualifier: I would have never seen that abstract myself while in the field faced with this scene but it is revealled quite nicely after the fact in your shot.
