Recent visit to Moab.
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure to go to Moab and play around in arches for a couple days. Unfortunately the weather was spectacular. Not a real cloud in sight both days I was there. It did reach 80 degrees though. These are the ones I liked the best. Any C&C is welcome thanks for looking.

This first one is actually an HDR, when processing it I found that it is actually a good challenge to not make images look like an HDR image.

Sunrise at the windows.

Predawn between the windows and turret arch.

Another Predawn, this is just to the right of the windows.

This is probably one of my favorites. I actually have no idea where i shot it either. I think it was taken when I was just screwing around.

Lastly. I just liked the texture of the rock on this one, it is a formation near double arch.

:toast: Great job Jim. All the images are terrific but I really like the sunrise at the Windows. Great subtle color behind the outline of the terrain. I also like the texture of the rock in the last image.

A fine collection.
I would never have known that the first image was an an HDR edited image, which means to me that it's successful.

Unfortunately the weather was spectacular.

Still, seems to me like you had some great clouds in the skies here to work with.

Very nice!
I think I would crop a little from the bottom of the 3rd one, but the last one is my favorite!
I'll be there in a couple of weeks. I hope I come back with photos as good as these.

I second Steve Robinson's comment. # 2 and the last one are arresting.

The HDR, road, and last shots are my faves. Nice images here and I couldn't detect the HDR work.

Hard to pick one out of these, they are all very good. Well done!
