Higher Ground
I've spent the last 10 days in the South Carolina Lowcountry and the weather has been terrible. Yesterday, Beaufort, SC received 4.5 inches of rain - in one day!

This morning at Hunting Island, the maritime forest was flooded. The water simply has nowhere to go. So there were little critters hanging in the trees, trying to stay dry. That included scores of skinks and anoles - little lizard-looking things.

This Green Anole was warming up on a backlit palmetto and I could not resist. It was a pretty cool morning and it was great to see the sun.

Really creative, Richard. It's a perfect example of how one artist can have multiple styles.

It has me thinking M.C.Escher, even though yours doesn't defy logic..
