I tried to get closer, but no luck. They flew right after this. :frown: This was at a small pond on Skidaway Island, Georgia.

F/7.1, 1/250, 200 ISO, D300 w 80 - 400mm @ 400mm.

I agree nice catch. I do think it is stronger with the shadows at the top cropped out. They tend to draw my attention away from the woodies.

I like it better with a crop from the top. Nice catch!
