Just like Bill Dark, I was also out trying to enjoy what may be the last of the blooms before the cold snap. One of the captures involved putting my cheek to the ground to see through the eyepiece. This is one of many that I liked.

Hey Mike, I like the perspective and backlighting on the leaves. To bad you couldn't get some reflective light into the flower. Thanks for sharing.

I like it too, Mike. The perspective works nicely, along with the square crop, and the backlit leaves really make the color pop. Great job!

Mike, a great perspective and a fine shot.

That is definitely original Mike. I love the square crop... If it was mine, I'd probably try to pull some of the highlights back and add some selective contrast/curves to the plant leaves.

10mm is WIDE!

cool perspective. I briefly tried to shoot some May Apples Saturday up on the Cadron but I just couldn't manage to find any compositions I liked.

What more can I say Mike, unique perspective, nice backlight and the square crop brings it all together. Well seen and done!

I waited for the sun to hit the flowers, but I gave up. I did get some sun on this one.
