A meeting of minds . . . or beaks!
A continuation of my previous post. Having arrived at the nest and presented the female with his carefully selected nesting material, the female indicates her agreement by taking the proffered branch. A short time later they consummated their union.

Daniel, this is a great series, keep them coming! I think these guys are hamming it up for you!

Alright Bill or Wayne you guys are going to have to limit Daniel on his avian posts because he is making us all look just terrible.

Only kidding of course (about the limiting part you really are making us all look bad) another great shot. Interesting info about the branch. I had no idea.

One thing that is funny about this is that they both seem to be biting the the same branch... I've never seen birds this close... What are they doing? Ok, I might know. This is the side of nature that most of us never get to see happen.

I'm glad you shot this perfectly, even though they might have wanted some privacy.

Another great capture Daniel... We're going to have to take away your long lens just to slow you down a little bit so the rest of us can catch up with your skill set..
