Simple, elegant, and effective use of line and color. As well as negative space. Were you on a bridge to get this point of view? By the way, Dude, you suck. Between Carr Clifton and you, does anyone want a 5d? I''m done!
Cool image Todd! It's like a road made of light and sky.

Hey Morris,
Yeah, I was on the little bridge at the entrance of San Luis Lakes SP. I was heading out after shooting sunset and as I passed over the bridge, it was one of those HOLY @#%&! moments of slamming on the brakes, backing up, and then trying to hold my breath as I tried to steady the tripod against the top railing of the chain link fence. Most of the images have a little bit of camera movement, but one or two were manageable.
BTW, on a scale of 1 to 10, I consider Clifton to be about a 12. I consider myself to be about a 4. Gives me something to shoot for!

I would consider Clifton to be a 8.2568 and Caudle a 8.2566. Plus or minus 0.0008. Don't sell yourself so short, Todd. You have an outstanding body of work! Much of it every bit as good, if not better, than Clifton's.
Seriously, Clifton's work is very good but I wouldn't say a 12! There are members of NPN who I would rate higher than Clifton.
But that's the great thing about opinions (like certain body parts)---------------everyone's got one!

Now, just think, if only a flock of geese had been flying in V formation directly overhead, so the reflection was perfectly captured...now that would have been a best seller But i like this version too.

I can see why there might have been some camera movement in a few shots, with a moment like this!
Let's see, if Clifton is a 12 and Todd is a 4.........Like I said, "Anyone want a 5d, I'm done!"
I'm with Morris; the only difference is I'm getting rid of ALL my gear.
And, thanks for the info on your favorite landscape photographer.

Great shot, Todd!
