River Garry in flood. The river was so high it was inundating areas not normally under water and this lone sapling caught my attention with its sinuous shape and stark silhouette, which I thought had a lovely relationship with the swirling water. I dont mind stuff 'cut off' like this but I know its not everyone's cup of tea.

I like the swirling patterns in the muddy water. But, I honestly think I`d prefer it without that sapling - would make a nice abstract!

It looks like the top half could be the sky, if slightly abstract and without the sapling. The eddie at the bottom is nice.

Hello John.

Like the swirling water a colour.

But the sapling part does not work for me.

I'd echo what's already been said about concentraing on the water patterns and excluding the sapling.
