With all the wildflower post, I couldn't resist making a quick tripup to the Merced River Canyon. This image is from several weeks ago. Its taken just west of El Portal on the north side of the river. Very steep slope make access a bit of an issue, but the flowers were magnificant. All coments welcome.

Very pretty, Michael. You've mixed the golden flowers with a nice blue sky.
The hillside slope creates a good diagonal line. In the last month I've made
4 trips to the Merced River Canyon. I suspect that it's past peak now for
Poppies; however, the Redbuds were coming in nicely about a week ago.

Beautiful Michael. Looks tough to get a 4x5 out on those steep slopes.
