Last minute decision this morning to catch sunrise in RMNP was a good one, since there were no clouds down low (thank Steven P for the forecast!). I just made it into Moraine Park for sunrise, I had already spotted the moon driving up and pre-decided to try and use it. These first two shots are from the Museum, last one needs no title!.
There was NO ONE at all at Bear Lake, and just me, fresh snow and animal tracks on the way up and down to Dream!.

I like them all, but enjoy the first one the most. The comp and light are great. I do wish that the trees were greener. They appear too dark on my monitor.
Thanks for sharing.

I dig the comp in the last one. The clouds add to it too.
Yeah, i love that vertical #1! The dream comp is cool too, might make a nice B&W.

Nick, In the first shot, I really like how the three trees balance the moon, but my favorite is the third one. I like how the opening between the peaks seems to be the start of the stream. Very nicely done!

Well done Nick. Good use of the clouds that you were given this morning.
Like the balance between the moon and the foreground trees in #1. The pink clouds are a nice too.
A good use of the melting ice in #3. Spring must be on its way.
What an extremely beautiful collection of images.
