Black Grouse Facing Up

Been following the Black Grouse Lek over the past week or so. Its amazing to see how 90% of the Lek is so peaceful with gentle bubbling and a few flutters/jumps here and there. Most face to face encounters end up with the weaker bird backing down. However, if two evenly matched Grouse face up (like these two) then a battle can suddenly explode.

Great concept and well executed.... the composition is fantastic and really tells a story.... I wonder whether the focus is accurate on the head of the bird facing?... difficult to tell at web size.
