More Redbud
Hope I'm not overdoing it with redbuds, but have been going back through some older files and thought I would post this one. Really not much going on here, except I love the late afternoon light and shape of this particular tree.

Bill, keep them coming, I never get tired or redbuds. The late day light is also nice.

That light is just fantastic.

You are right, that light is sweet. Nice catch Bill.

One of my favorite trees. Redbud is the state tree of Oklahoma, my home state!
Thanks for the lovely picture.

nice Bill. How are the Dogwoods looking up there? I had someone ask me for a report he was thinking about going to the Jasper area this weekend.

IMHO Redbuds are tough to photograph. It's really nice seeing your handiwork. Color and light are fantastic. Maybe we'll get some green someday before they loose their flowers.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Matthew - the dogwoods are looking great right now. This weekend should be the peak for many, and one should be able to find some redbuds peaking too. A friend floating the Buffalo last weekend told me about a group of seven dogwoods and three redbuds along one of the bluffs that I'm going to try to get to, but access maybe a little problematic...most likely will be an afternoon shot with the orientation, so hiking in shouldn't be an issue.

You do a nice job on these shots Bill. I'm kinda along with Ed, Redbuds as beautiful as they are and as photogenic as they seem, I have found difficult to shoot and get results I visualize. This is a wonderful shaped specimen and you done it right with this shot.
