I think we all like these by the amount that has been posted on these forums, this youngster was photographed last year as I was putting out new perches at the local reserve, typical it couldn't wait till I was all set up for it.
I'm green with envy every time I see one posted. This is a lovely image and I agree about the framing - a little more room bottom and possibly left would be nice (but the aforementioned twig might prevent that.

Lovely image, great colours, green mat again? i think i have the same one dani- army/navy store, green, 3-4 mm thick, good for cold weather?? i must get a life lovely photo well done
Might just crop some from the top. As the kingfisher is in the bottom right looking into the frame. I think this would give a feel of more disstance for the bird to look into.

Wondeful colours, still on my list of things to try for. Top stuff!
Thanks for all the comments, the oof twig is a thorn in my side, I have tried to clone it out before but without a successful result, I think I will give it another go.
If it works I might try adding a bit to the bottom to balance the image up a bit, as I think taking some off the top might crowd it in a bit.

Perhaps a different framing and I think I would attempt to clone out the OOF twig.
