Quick question - regional group for New Jerseyans?

Is there a regional group for us New Jerseyans? Northeast group does not seem to cover us. Rocky Mountain would be nice but kind of a far commute.

No, I don't believe there is a group for NJ people...where in Jersey are you? I'm on the border in Bucks....a group of 2 probably wouldn't cut it! Sharon

But I share your sentiment. I'm in Westchester. I believe most of the members in the Northeast group are further north, in and around Massachusetts. And you can't convince me to drive that far for an afternoon hike.

I think we need a NY/NJ/PA group!

I've wondered about a more regional one too, like NY/NJ/PA that Rebecka suggested. Sharon, I'm in Bucks County too-- Quakertown, to be specific. Nice to hear there's someone near me. The Delaware River is only 25 min. from me, so I photograph across the river pretty often, and at the seashore too. It does seem that the NE group is focused more on areas North of New York state. I notice that the NE group does not have as many postings as the others. If there were a new group like this, what would we call it?

How about just NY/NJ/PA group? Our three states are often grouped together simply like that. (On the other hand, we could also call ourselves the Fancy Photog Group, or the like...) Maybe CT as well - not sure they're included in NE group?

I'm only about 20 minutes from the Delaware River on the Jersey side. We could hold a first get-together there?

It sounds good to me, Rebecka! I don't know how one goes about forming new groups around here. I would guess you'd need to take this to Jim, for a start. I don't know the history of how groups were formed here on NPN.
