Same location as the other post just a bit lower in the tree. This one is now full size and as already taken a few test flights. But dew to the poor light all the images of these shots are not really good enouth for posting.
Another good heron image and good job on getting a clear and unobstruced view of the head, something which looks easier said than done given the setting.
They have nested in and old quarry which as high banks all round. The tree they are on is on a small island, so from the high veiw point you get a good veiw of the nest.
I just wish I had found it a lot earlier
