Kill Creek Park Sunrise
I'm back ... on landscape images that is!!! Well at least for a moment anyway.

Went to a nearby park for sunrise images today and was greated by some very nice light and conditions. This is the first time I've shot here and based on my initial impressions, I'll be back.

Not only were there nice landscape compositions to be had, but the abundance of avain wildlife and absence of people make this this small park a nature photographers dream.

Wayne, sounds like you have found the ideal spot. The old gnarly tree and its reflection draw my attention into your photo. A very nice composition. It looks like spring is still holding off in your area.

Wayne - I love the dance of colors on this one. The Gnarly old tree really adds character to the shot and sort of represents the stand just behind it. Last year's cattails in the foreground help give it a sense of depth and perspective. The cottonball clouds really form a visual bridge between foreground and background. My impression is that of spring about to happen, with algae in the water and grass on the shore already greening up. I love the reflections!

By all means DO go back for more images. I look forward to seeing them.

Wow, this is a really nice shot. I would go back and wait for premium light, but I think this is so sweet.

As others have noted, there's much to enjoy in this image, Wayne. I particularly like the fantastic reflection in the bottom half, and think it could stand on it's own. And like Aaron said, some great light here would take this to another level...hope you go back for more!
