Home sweet home
A damp Miner Bee taking refuge from today's rain in a daffodil.

Canon 450D with MP-E 65 macro lens, f11, 1/160, ISO 100, diffused Speedlight on side bracket, handheld, full frame.

All C+C welcomed.

Very nice bit of macro work, stands out well against the yellow of the Daffodil.

I think this is very nice indeed and excellent use of diffused flash giving very soft and natural looking lighting.

Fantastic! My parents had lots of these in their garden that they (unfortunately) viewed as a pest. Last year they re-turfed (to get rid of the moss in the grass, not the bees specifically) and I told them off for doing so! But, to my delight they are still around this year so I guess their burrows go deeper than the gardener!

He looks very dedraggled which adds real feeling to the image. Nice one :toast:

Hello Matt.

Very nice.

Looks like me when I've just finished the post round after a day in the rain.
