If you want to see European wildlife and wild places not many of you have seen before or will ever see, please visit
www.wild-wonders.com
There is also a gallery with a few images of the Matterhorn region (Swiss Alps,)one of my three assignements for the photo project.

There are many, many images, interesting photographers to be seen - the elite of Europe's nature photographers, interesting links and seldom seen places, such as the underwater world of the Saltstraumen in Norway, to name just one of many...
This photo project needs wide attention and I really count on NPN viewers to enjoy this wonderful array of images!
If you have visited - and you can let me know what you liked and what could be better, this would be great!!!

Cheers

Thanks for posting this news. I remember now again you had the honor to get that assignment. I briefly viewed your images and it's interesting too see this stunning mountain rendered in your typical style. Like the "colorful vegetation" and the "glacier"-images.

Elite of Europe's photographers? Pah, I am not featured, how can you call it like that then.. just kidding...

That's a terrific site Verena, and I'm not sure how it could be improved. I didn't have any difficulty navigating or finding anything on it. And I'm with Dietrich - you've obviously done a great job with incorporating the assignment and your style. Very well done.

Dietrich: hmm, yes "the elite" sounds arrogant, but I ment that they can be found on the website AND some more photographers...(so it's up to you who to include or not)
and - who knows - in a couple of years and more venturing out of your "ballpark" lobau - you might be one of them.
David, Didl: thanks for replying and for the compliment. since NtlGeogr Society has it's hands on most of this projects assigned images I can't post much of it here, maybe some.
