Self inspection (Blue Tit)
I was wondering why there was a growing collection of bird poop on my car door...

I was sitting waiting for some Nuthatch when I noticed a Blue Tit holding onto the window frame.

This little guy has been singing to himself for a few days now. It's not a great shot by any means. The sun ducks behind some trees about 6pm so the light is pretty variable. I'll have the tripod set up next time

Cheers,

Chris

interesting image, tells the story really well, especially with the bird poop on the door

I've seen blue tits doing this before and even attacking their reflections in the wing mirror. An unusual shot, I like it.

Well spotted and captured. Interesting behaviour. I had a house sparrow wake me up every morning for about 2 weeks, repeatedly tapping the bedroom window and he displayed to his reflection. They only have small brains!

Nice shot, it tells the story well. Very interesting behaviour too. I've not seen blue tits doing this before.

A great storytelling shot. One that the local paper could probably make an amusing story from...
