A break in the storm
Todd's satellite pic sure explained what I saw yesterday. Things cleared up about 2pm as I was heading home after hearing about really heavy snow at home in the mountains. So I decided to swing through GoG to see what the storm left behind. Unfortunately, like Bob mentioned, there wasn't a lot of snow and it was melting fast. Still it was nice to shoot with the new lens outside.

By the time I got home it was snowing hard again. We've been hit hard up in Divide. I'll have to take some pics when I go out to plow.

Nice shot, Kalin. I went through there a couple hours after you did, and the lighting sure was different than what you had.

Ahhh.. spring in Colorado. Love the view and perspective. A little distortion with the 14mm, but less noticeable than if there were trees there.

I was watching the weather, with envy. Going to be sunny and 70 here in Portland.

Nice shot, Kalin! I was hoping it was a bit cooler for this storm, no such luck, it has been a very dissapointing season for snow in the Gog...ah well.
