Taken on a baiting post at Roy Blewits site.
Very nervous- slightest lens movement and they,re gone- and its a long time before you get another chance - if at all. They can even pick up the internal zoom on a lens so youy have to be all ready before they get there.

An excellent portrait. I love the crouched, alert pose and that clear, big bright eye.
A good perch and background too.

Well presented and shot ,looking at the stats ,light wasn't on your side so you've done well .Nice one.

Lovely shot John. Given the way Crows and Magpies love to beat them up I'm not surprised they're so nervous.

Thanks again
I forgot to ask.
I am having trouble with this new monitor, as i said before - move your head and the pic changes dramatically. I need to get a piece of wood with a chin rest on it !
Seriously is this pic a little too dark., ? or ok ?Advice welcome.
Cheers

It looks ok to me John. It's an excellent shot. Your screen should be tilted so that you are facing it square on and then you just have to try not to slide down in your chair as you nod off! Very annoying to adjust a shot to perfection and then sit up straight only to find you have got it all wrong. Eric
