I guess I missed Bob Wyatt by a few days at Pam's Grotto. I did however make sure to bring my camera gear on the way up. I shot several HDR Panoramas including a 46 shot stitch that I'm having trouble getting HDR stitched... This one is not an HDR (even though I have the files for it to be one).
By the way, Haw Creek is really nice right now! Spring is hitting hard there.
Tim, just start me a tab for the royalties... I'm working towards getting a free guidebook after I can mark off each waterfall.

I really like this view. I tend to shoot from this side when I visit this waterfall.

Excellent shot, Aaron. The moss and algae really add a nice punch of color. I can see why Tim named this one after his wife; it's a beautiful location.
46 shots! I can see where that might bog down the processor a bit. I took multiple exposures of several locations on my last trip with the intention of merging to HDR images, but have yet to work on it. Maybe you can share your workflow with me at the gathering.

A 46 shot pano ... really? What are you going to do with the finished print, hang it on the side of a building? How long did it take to capture 46 overlapping shots for a pano? Inquiring minds want to know!

The 46 shot HDR pano took about 15 minutes to capture, oh and after all the shots it took 5-10 minutes for the buffer catch up to writing the files. Now I'm just trying to find out which program works the best with these huge HDR panorama's. Bryan, I will share what little knowledge I have gathered about HDR's or panoramas.
