Well I finally got down to business over the past 2 weeks with processing and drum scanning my B/W from last fall's Europe trip. A combination of weather and a reprieve from my road warrior status for a few weeks proved worthwhile. The entire collection can be seen here . As usual these are shot with a traditional 4x5 view camera on TMAX 100 film and developed in my own calibrated 'brew'.
Super job, Richie! You are a master architectural photographer! My favorites were the boats and reflection(color) and the door and alley in Veranna, but there were about 5 others that elicited a Wow!
These are some of the finest b&w images that I've ever seen. Certainly some of the finest photography, period.
Your eye for composition and detail are simply superlative. I don't have a clear favorite...I love every single one of these images!
One can only hope that this collection receives as wide of an audience as possible. I feel privileged to have viewed this work.

What a delightful gourp of photos! I have no favorites either, but it was a pleasure browsing through them. Your compositions are great and I'd wager these look even better seeing the B+W prints in person.
Richie V, these are really impressive. I especially love the statutes in Vienna. You did a great job with them! I used to walk by those statues almost every day when I was living there. Your other shots are equally as impressive. I'd love to see a full gallery showing of these amazing photos. .

Great collection, Rich! I love your B&W - spot on as always. I really like the Gondola station and the Statues - lovely detail!

Excellent collection Rich, but we would expect no less from you.
Fantastic collection, Ritchie! I like em all, but especially the rooftops and the color version of your top post here.

Not much more that I can add from what's already been said. You have a such a great eye for architectural style shooting. Fantastic work.

Great stuff! I'm no expert on b/w, but it looks like the tonal range in each photo is perfect. It's also inspiring that you hauled your 4x5 all over the place.
