This Morning
From the looks of everybody's latest post, I'd say it was a productive weekend.

I went into this area for the first time this morning before sunrise, and found some incredible light before the sun popped out about mid morning. I've been looking for dogwoods along a nice streambed for several years now, and it ain't been easy. Finally found something close to what I've had in mind, and will be going back again later this fall.

Tranquil is the word that comes to mind when viewing this Bill. The splash of white leaves adds that little extra to the scene.

Glad you found a spot that at least comes close to what you've been looking for all these years.

Lovely tranquil image as others have noted. My only complaint: There are no birds in it!

Thanks for the comments. OK Daniel, here's another one that has a cardinal - can you find him?

If that's a cardinal in the upper right, that's about the kind of bird shots I get even when they are supposed to be the subject.

As to your shot Bill, a lovely image of a lovely place.
