I made a quick trip to Holland (MI) today to check the progress of the Tulips down there. Most, at the Tulip farm itself, have achieved their full height and have buds on them, with a few bloomers here and there. Downtown Holland has quite a few Tulips that just opened up. As for Windmill Island, I couldn't really tell, because it was closed today and could only sneak a quick peek. I would imagine they are as far along as the other places are, though.
The weather later this week should be a big help in getting the Tulips to pop, with sunny skies and temps ranging from the upper 50's on Wednesday to the low 70's Friday and Saturday.
If any one is interested in meeting me there next weekend, or sometime early the following week, let me know.
