Not sure if this is true Rockies or not but it's only a few miles from the Montana border, and the mountains are higher than anything in the midwest so I thought I would post it here. Also, the size is bigger than the preferred size as indicated here, so I posted it at:
Looking forward to any critiques, suggestions, etc.
It's the eastern end of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, October 2008.
BTW I think this is one of the most underrated national parks in the system. Really fantastic for wildlife and landscapes.

Nice light on the hills and clouds. I think I'd crop it a little on the left to lose the stray branches. Also a little from the bottom, to the bottom of the sage clumps, to emphasize the hills any sky more. Looks like an interesting area!

That's some beautiful lighting. I agree with Kalin about the cropping. Nice find and capture. Looks like a beautiful and interesting area.

In addition to what others suggested, I would suggest increasing the contrast and sharpness of the foreground. Very nice light and comp.
Nice image. I agree with cropping out the tree branches on the left. This is a great park and not very crowded. I'm also fascinated with the life of the person it was named after. We can thank him for a lot of the areas we enjoy photographing in.
Lush is the word that comes to mind! And I'm not talking about drinkers!

Nice image of a very underrated park -- North Dakota isn't exactly a destination for landscape photography but I think you have provided a great example of the possibilities that exist.

That is a beauty! Could use a touch more contrast, but that's it.

I agree with the comments about it being an excellent park. I couldn't believe the wildlife I saw there.
