Dogwood Cascade
I found an area off Hwy71 near Artist Point that was loaded with dogwoods. This is the result.
Minor crop and sharpening applied

Lovely composition with flowers fg and rushing water in bg. It reminds me of a Japanese nature painting. It may be just the web or my monitor at work, but it looks a bit dark.

Holy cow, this is beautiful Clayton! I can't comment on the exposure because the monitor I'm on always looks dark, but it would be an easy fix if that is the case. The light here is just fantastic, and great separation and detail in the blossoms. Awesome shot! :toast:

Wow this is beautiful! On my monitor it does look a touch dark as well.

It looked fine on my 24" monitor and when printing, but when I look at it on my laptop I see what you all are saying.
Here it is with +.5 exposure

The lighter version is perfect. I've been looking for this exact shot! Love it! The green in the moss could use a punch.

This is a hard to beat combination Clayton. Very nicely composed with the lighter version being much better.

The second, brighter version is much better IMO. Great composition, and wonderful details in the blooms. The SS perfectly captures the little cascades. Beautiful intimate little scene.

Nothing I can really add here Clayton, except my congratulations on a fine shot.

Fantastic image Clayton. The repost does look better to me. I really like the composition and detail in the blooms. Really nice.
