Sorry still only 600px, but I will try to find an alternative solution this week. Also means I only currently have about 40 images to choose from, so definitely need to find somewhere else to link from. So really at the moment only the choice of more red squirrels, or birds in flight.

This was taken on the Farnes last year - which was my first visit to a puffin colony, usually too busy working, which should not be a problem this year

Thanks for the warm welcome on my first upload, most appreciated.

Cropped slightly for composition, which may not be to everyones taste

That's a lovely shot!

Not a bird I've ever tried to photograph, and I need to put that right!

It looks a great action shot, shame you can't have it larger. :toast:

Lovely - well caught.

Am off the Farnes myself later in the year, so hope to get some good stuff too.

Great shot, comp seems fine, it's not tight in the frame and has just enough space to fly into.

Lovely shot Cheryl and the product of a thoughtful approach as well, I understand. It certainly paid off in this case.

Thanks all.

A few people have now suggested other sites that I can use to host the images. So I'll take a look at them later today. Keen not to have the images uploaded in too many places, but one more should not hurt.

Going back again at the start of June, unless I end up with a job and can't get the time off. Hopefully that won't be an issue, but I do need to find a job, just need an understanding employer.
