Came across this serendipitous arrangement of bluebells on Saturday. Wasn't quite happy with the shots from then, so went back after work this evening (with a longer lens to throw the background out more). Light at both times was harsh and from behind me, so I used a diffuser, and a reflector to provide some side light.
Good to bump into you too, Ranscombe is always one of those places that either delivers or is a dissapointment....
I have been studying this one for a while, the light on the subject you have controlled very well indeed, the light on parts of the bg needs to be toned down, particularly the highlights on the leaves near the bottom, I like to think of subtracting light rather than adding, (will explain next time we bump into each other)
It is good that you have all the wannabees in focus, I think there are one or three too many, odd numbers always seem to be more aesthetically pleasing....
Just realised I am coming across very negative here and I don't mean too, it really is a nice image, probably one that I would have overlooked and is close to being a really good one...

Nice, I like the composition and the fresh greens. The only thing I would say is the way the tallest five stems are all the same height, not much you could have done there, but I think it would look more eye catching had they been at different heights - to lead your eye in, if you see what I mean...

C&C welcome.
