Everything went off smoothly, with only a few minor hitches. We couldn't land on Bear Island because of downed trees in the channel. Other than that, it was a beautiful day. The morning was especially lovely with mist rising from the river in golden light. I think everyone had a wonderful time! There were 14 of us (4 NPN'ers, 2 from the Georgia Nature Photographers Association and 8 local photographers.
