Little Grebe
From this morring the intense red is a combination of the early morning sunlight shining through the reedbeds and a cloudy white balance which was set by mistake.

One of my favorite birds Phill but not sure this works for me.....big fish for a little bird :wavey:

Very striking image Phil. I love the light and the sparkles in the bg. I do find the grebe a bit soft, but nothing a touch more USM won't fix!
