A beautiful morning...
Hello all!

I know it has been quite some time since I've been around. Sorry for that, life has kept me very busy. I have however been popping in here and there and have seen some awesome stuff being posted, well done guys!

I recently dusted off the camera and headed out for a short trip with a friend to Northern California for a few days and got some kinda interesting stuff. I feel real rusty on PS, especially since I just got PS4 and things on it feel a bit different, better, but different.

Anyhow, check this out and let me know how yall like it, good and bad please. I did what I normally do, shot blend and yadda yadda. But this is a attempt at that contrasty blur thingy Marc mentioned a bit ago. I kinda like it for this.

Also wanted to know if anyone wanted any company up the gorge anytime soon. I'll should be making daily trips really soon.

Fantastic lighting and exposure, Jeremy. This would really sing at a larger size.

Gorgeous light and superb exposure...I'd be tempted to crop off a bit from the bottom.

This is really nice, and would be great printed large. The composition and pull from the wide angle lends itself well to the FG ferns and the distant light. Nice processing to boot.

Looks good, man. I think your blend and control of the exposure are excellent. The shadowed trees on the left edge are a tad dark, but not too big of a deal for me. Overall a very well crafted forest scene.

Wonderful image, Jeremy. The shadows are bit deep in the upper L, but that's a minor nit. Very impressive.

Great atmosphere and lighting in this, Jeremy! The left trees are a little dark for me as well, but not a deal breaker by any means. I disagree with Kartik's suggestion, I think cropping the bottom would reduce the sense of depth you have achieved here.
