Another waterfall from my recent trip to the Carolinas. I was standing in the creek snapping away and then realized I was standing on Romex. I followed it across the creek and saw that it ended at an electrical box. This was a hazard I hadn't previously encountered doing nature photography. Turns out there used to be a gazebo and picnic area on the bank, and the electrical connection was no longer live (at least I don't think it was). Can't imagine why they couldn't take an extra 5 minutes and remove the wire.
As for the shot, there's more stuff in the foreground than I prefer, but I'm pretty happy with the composition overall.
Thanks for looking

Shocking!!
I have to admit that realizing you were standing in water with an electrical line running through it would be a bit disconcerting. But I see it didn't keep you from getting a fine shot here Bryan. BTW, the fg works for me.
Did you cut it out and take to sell for the copper?
As for the shot you might want to try cropping out the foreground but it really doesn't bother me. I'm drawn to the widing line the water makes coming over the ledge.
