Managed to get out early this morning to a local reserve and was pleased to see a few of these orchids in flower.

A superb image Terry! Lovely detail in the flower and great dof. A personal preference, but would liked to have seen it more central in the frame, but then that's me.I must get out and find some this weekend!

To be unhelpful, I quite like the positioning in the frame, especially seeing as the plant is leaning into the space at the top. The oof foreground is obscuring the lower part of the plant a bit too much for my taste however. Great light, and lots of detail in a nice specimen though.

Love this diffused effect. Lighting suits it perfectly too. Great stuff.

It;s a lovely shot Terry and I agree with Greg that the positioning is good, with space for the plant to lean into. I like the way the plant is slightly obscured at the base.

Cheers

No complaints from me Terry,

The soft foreground contributes to the natural/gentle feel to this image.

Cheers
