Little Egret flights in at dusk.
D3 + 600mm AFS II f4.
1/400 @ f5.6.
ISO:400.
Ex Comp -1.0EV.
WB: Auto.
Grab shot hand held.
Dont know if this quite works but it certainly conveys to me the scene as shot. Great Norfolk sunset and some not to bad company either.

exellent IMHO. very nice to see a bird in a sunset that isn't a silhouette.

Great shot.
I'm curious about the company you're had who made you do this :)

One day I wont be able to manage it Barrie but fitting tractor tyres that tower above you helps in the mean time.
Tom I usually spend time in the pursuit of images on my own, but every now and then its nice to change that and as Mr Nigel Blake said at the time "This photographic lark gets infectious" Mind you whilst showing off his ill gotten gains during that day he managed to miss us a prime shot of a Marsh Harrier about to go infront of that sunset.
If only I had more time. :wavey:
Thanks for comments.

Lovely shot Major, something a bit different and works well. Somehow it has an oriental and artisitic feel to it, very nice.
