Went out the Woodland Tulip festival at dawn, overcast skies and beautiful vibrant colors. It was nice to meet up with several of our local photographers and besides tulips we had fun shooting the white crowned sparrow that claims the display patch as his territory.
The blossoms are at peak now or will be by the weekend as long as we dont get any hard rain.

Very pretty example.. Like Mike's, I might suggest a little crop off the top and the left side slightly... How do you get the website to let you post this size? If I vary even a pixel from 720 mine won't post...

Not sure on the sizing Ned, I will have to watch it closer, I usually get kicked back if it's over 200kb. I had sized this to 720 on the long side and in saving it came up as only 134kb, so I resized a little larger and this is what I wound up with.

No biggie on the size - it was just fortunate I think for you to be able to post larger! I do like this cropped version a lot - it bring everything into a tighter perspective. Are you considering a trip back up? I'm thinking I might again this weekend maybe...

Those are some tropical colors, Craig. I really like the yellow tulip in the field of pink ones. It's lovely!
Ned, I probably will try and get back to Woodland on saturday at dawn, hopefully get some shooting in before the weekend crowds arrive. Hopefully a few others will join too!
