Hi all,

I can't make my mind up about this one. I was happy to see the bird in flight at eye level, but I am not so happy with the near wing. Does it bother you?

It is the first in flight image of this species for me so I won't delete it. I just wished for a different wing position.

C&C welcome.

Thanks

Austin

Hi Austin, wing doesn't bother me.......would like to have seen some detail in the eye but could be my monitor....I know how hard in flight shots are

Wing fine by me. I can actually see detail in the eye on my monitor. I've only tried these on one occasion and the eye was a real challenge - I failed. This is great!

Hi Austin,
Wing does not bother me. I even think it is oke, because it gives you a free look on the bird itself. But it is a little dark around the head so you can not see much detail over there.

The pose is oke (imho).

The wing isn't a problem Austin, exposure looks good, still my Bempton bogey bird, nice capture.

Very nice in flight capture Austin, head area could possibly do with being a touch lighter.

Terry.

I'm going up there soon and I only hope I can get one half as good. The wing is no problem for me, and the eye could be lightened a little using the dodge tool just to lift it a bit. good exposure as well with lots of detail in both the whites and the blacks.
Nice one.

I'm off up there in a few weeks myself, hope I get a shot as good as this. No prob with the wing, may be a little lacking in detail around the eye, but no big deal

cheers
