White Crowned Petal Pusher
This White Crowned Sparrow continues posing on the Tulip Festival petals in Woodland. He has claimed the publics display area and is very cooperative with photographers by landing on the beautiful tulips. A few of us plan to be there tomorrow, saturday, and with overcast skies the images should be great, join us if you can!

He's quite the high profile star of the show. Good shot.

Razor sharp on the feathers and great background Craig. Wonderful light too.

Excellent capture, Craig. Bright magenta base, green background and the Sparrow between in sharp focus - very effective!

The magenta/green combo is perfect. The little fella has a lot of character too. A small nit-pick is the in focus petal that touches the lower left frame edge. It is slightly distracting. Either a small crop or a careful blur would fix it.

Good job with these, Craig.. did you make it out this morning? I was there early and left about 6:45 though. I was sick yesterday and pretty much under the weather still this morning...

Another great shot Craig, although I like the first one just a bit more.
