Always makes me laugh that they have a smile on the face even when fighting to the death! Might be too tightly framed for some but I quite liked the detail and action captured.

Hello Richard.

Great action shot, and the pose you have caught then in is excellent. :wavey:

It is a shame about the wing and I have so many shots like this and there is just nothing you can do.

Excellent action shot Richard, the movement in the water is cracking as is the pose of both birds, top stuff.

Great bit of wildlife action, the tight crop works well for me.

Regards
Terry.

The two beaks and heads are sharp, great timing Richard
I like the unsharp claws of the right bird.
Congrats :toast: :toast:

A great bit of action, but cropped subject matter rarely ever work for me, as I keep thinking, “if only”. Plus I don’t think a slightly smaller image would have lost any of the quality that you have captured here. Even so, an excellent shot/capture.

These blighters can be quite aggressive, but always with a smile ! Cracking action shot well seen and captured, it is a little tight in the frame but sometimes when this kind of action happens there's not a lot you can do - nice....

cheers

Super action capture & I think the tight crop adds to the intesity of the fight. well seen & taken.
