I'd really like your comments on this photo. This isn't my typical subject, but I, for some reason, enjoyed this contrast of humans' permanent impact on this location and the beauty of the freshly fallen snow on Pikes Peak. This was taken over a year ago on the second level of the parking garage at UCCS, so the black border is actually the cement walls of the parking garage. I left them black intentionally. Any comments are much appreciated. Thanks.

I like this idea of a composition, and I think it would work well cropped to a more pano format. My only nit is I wish Pikes Peak was not being obstructed by the railings, but maybe you were not able to move any further to your left?.
Interesting. I think the rails obstruction is part of the message so that doesnt bother me, but maybe a pano format would work best, so you balance the dark and light areas.

Thanks for commenting, guys. Yes, I think I placed the railing their purposefully since moving to the left would have blocked the clear part of the peak. Like Stan said, the railing is part of the message also. Thanks again.
