Graylag Goose
Taken from a car park where the bird was stood at the other side of the road. The bird was only a few feet from traffic passing at 50 - 60mph. It was good to see him wonder off into the field & not into the busy road.

Canon 20D, 100-400mm, (F11,iwas experimenting & used various settings), 1/400th, ISO 200, -2/3 exp.
Any comments welcome

Hi Lee,

The alert pose of the bird and positioning in the frame are good. Unfortunately the light is a bit harsh, but not much you could do about that. If I were you I would've opened up a lot more to throw the background more out of focus.
